Concern over decision to move mental health services to Reading

Theresa May has reacted to the news that mental health services for older people are likely to be removed from St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead. In a blow to local residents, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has decided that all mental health inpatient facilities should be located at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading, meaning that the current services at St Marks will close.Read More
Theresa speaks up for local residents at travellers inquiry

Theresa May has urged a public inquiry to ensure fair play in the planning system by upholding an enforcement notice against an unauthorised traveller site in Waltham St Lawrence. Appearing before the inquiry in Maidenhead, Theresa highlighted the strong concerns of local residents about the site and pressed the inquiry to support measures to protect the Green Belt. Read More
