  • Sep 18, 2018

On Monday 17 September Theresa took part in an unveiling ceremony to open a new pedestrian and cycle bridge in Maidenhead.

The new bridge over The Cut is named Margaret’s Bridge in honour of local rambler and campaigner Margaret Bowdery MBE and links Braywick Park to Oldfield School.

Theresa said:

“Margaret Bowdery ensured that spaces were opened up for people to be able to enjoy the countryside and their local environment; I think Margaret’s bridge is a fine addition to Maidenhead.”
