On Friday 13 April, Theresa attended a commemorative service in Kidwells Park where she unveiled a memorial for British War hero, Captain Thomas Tannatt Pryce.
Captain Thomas Pryce was a recipient of the Victoria Cross -the highest award in the UK honours system - and the commemorative paving stone marks 100 years since his death during the First World War.
Theresa:
“The unveiling marked a particularly special occasion where we paid tribute to a member of our own community, Captain Thomas Tannatt Pryce, who so bravely gave his life for the freedoms we enjoy today.
This memorial will be a constant reminder of the courage he displayed for his family, our community and for generations to come.”
