Theresa May MP walks through nearly 4,000 years of Jewish History

On Sunday 13 May Theresa open the Maidenhead Synagogue’s walkway through history.

Rabbi Johnathan Romain guided Theresa through the historical path, as they paused to listen to readings and recitals from members of the Jewish community. At the end of the walkway, she was greeted by the synagogue’s chairman, Jose Lehmani.

Theresa said:

“This will be a wonderful place for people to come and learn about the history of the Jewish people.

I am glad to see people representing multiple faiths here today. Maidenhead is a town where people come together, learn from each other, and respect each other - and this pathway will be another way to do that.”
