On Wednesday 22nd November, the Government announced a major multi-year funding package for additional capital investment in the NHS. A significant part of this is to support the development of Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships to deliver high quality care, in the right setting for patients.
12 schemes have been initially announced, one of them being at St Mark's Hospital in Maidenhead.

I know that there is a process that schemes will need to follow subsequently to receive the funding, including completing a business case and I am pleased that further details on this will be provided shortly.
I welcome this investment, as I believe the funding will bring benefits to all constituents and local health economy.”
