Theresa was delighted to meet with Polina, the winner of Theresa’s annual Christmas card competition.
Polina’s impressive festive drawing of Maidenhead Clock Tower caught Theresa’s eye and really did encapsulate the theme of this year’s competition: ‘Christmas in Maidenhead’.
Every year, Theresa teams up with the Maidenhead Advertiser to invite school children from across Maidenhead to design a card to be sent out to VIPs and community figures here and around the world.
Theresa met with Polina earlier this month to see her freshly printed Christmas card and present Polina with her prize – a meerkat encounter and zoo visit at the Berkshire College of Agriculture.
Of the overall competition Theresa said that: “It’s great to see so many cards with Maidenhead landmarks on them. Once again there was a huge variety of entries and that’s always lovely to see.”
