Theresa welcomes the public consultation on Heathrow Airport's airspace and future operations

  • 14 Jan 2019

Theresa welcomes the opportunity for Maidenhead constituents to contribute to Heathrow Airport’s Airspace and Future Operations Consultation, which will run until 11.55 pm on 4th March 2019.

Heathrow is consulting on the local factors that should be considered when designing future flight paths and how three runways will operate in the future if planning approval is granted. Areas being considered include noise management; respite through runway and airspace alternation; directional preference and night flights.

Households in the Maidenhead constituency should have received the attached leaflet which provides details about the consultation and how to respond. There is also a consultation event being held in the constituency on 7th February from 2pm to 8pm at the Nicholsons Shopping Centre.

Theresa recognises that Heathrow expansion is of concern to some resident and encourages everyone to contribute to the consultation process.
