Theresa May MP attends Churches Together Christmas Lunch

  • 25 Dec 2018

On Christmas Day Theresa attended the Churches Together Christmas lunch, organised for elderly people who otherwise would be alone on Christmas Day.

Theresa mingled with diners before giving a speech about the importance of volunteering.

Theresa:

“I look forward to this event every year and it is simply wonderful to see that so many volunteers on Christmas Day.

I understand that a team of 50 volunteers helped prepare the food, welcomed the residents and did the washing up and everyone involved deserves a heartfelt thank you.

This lunch means a lot to many people and I already looking forward to next year.”
