Celebrating 150 years of the Maidenhead Advertiser

  • 2 Aug 2019

Theresa was delighted to attend the Maidenhead Advertiser's anniversary celebrations on 26th July and congratulate them on 150 years of dynamic and vibrant journalism.

Theresa believes that local journalism is a huge force for good and plays a vital role in the community - whether it is supporting campaigns, providing local information or holding politicians to account. The Maidenhead Advertiser reflects community interests, concerns and passions.

As well as being an avid reader, Theresa relishes being able to engage and collaborate with the Maidenhead Advertiser. Her newspaper highlight of the year is the partnership to find her Christmas card design – a feature which enthuses the youngest readers in the area every Autumn.

Theresa commented: 'In recent years print journalism has faced a hugely challenging time but the Maidenhead Advertiser continues to provide this important amenity for our neighbourhood. I am delighted each week when the latest edition of the Maidenhead Advertiser lands on my doormat.'
