May congratulates Altwood school

  • 6 Feb 2007

Altwood school has been listed as one of the top performing schools in the country.

Theresa May said, ‘I am delighted to hear that Altwood School has been listed as one of the top performing schools on the Government’s Achievement and Attainment tables. This is good news and a real boost for the school. It recognises the sustained improvement in the Key Stage 3 results over the last few years.

‘I would like to extend my thanks to all the dedicated teachers and staff who have played such a vital part in Altwood School’s success.

‘And I would like to congratulate the pupils whose good results at Key Stage 3 have placed the school so high on these tables.’
