Theresa raised concerns about the closure of Twyford Post Office in November last year. The sudden closure meant that residents had to travel to either the Woodley or Reading branches to access Post Office services.
In view of this, Theresa was delighted with the announcement this week from the Post Office Ltd that Twyford Post Office has re-opened, restoring important services to the village.
The opening hours of Twyford Post Office are Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm and Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.
Post Office Ltd confirmed that the services available in Twyford include; posting letters and parcels, collecting and returning online shopping items, a wide range of banking services for customers of all the main UK banks, car tax, lottery and currency exchange.
