  • 16 Oct 2021

On Friday 15th October, Maidenhead MP Theresa May visited the Hurst Village Society to celebrate both the opening of the first official “Hurst Village Archives” and the launch of Henry Farrar’s new book; Hurst A New Look At An Ancient Parish.

After this event Theresa commented: "It was fantastic to be able to join the Hurst Village Society to celebrate the opening of the first official “Hurst Village Archives” and the launch of Henry’s new book, “Hurst A New Look At An Ancient Parish”.

Hurst has a long and rich history, and it is great to see these tales retold in Henry Farrar’s book. I would also like to join with the Hurst Village Society in expressing my heartfelt thanks for taking custody of the Village Archives.

It was a truly insightful evening, and it was good to come together to speak about the rich history of our local community".
