Earlier this month Theresa May MP met with the Headteacher of Holyport College to discuss the college’s ‘Safer Schools- Safe Walk Route Campaign’.
Theresa May MP commented on this visit: “It was great to visit Holyport College to meet with the Headmaster Mr. McCarey and discuss the college’s ‘Safer Schools- Safe Walk Route Campaign’.
I saw first-hand just how busy the Ascot Road can be, with traffic continually whizzing past. This is a very dangerous environment for children walking to and from school.
I am absolutely supporting Holyport College’s campaign and I am urging all interested local parties to come together to ensure this proposal gets put into action”.
