Theresa May MP pays tribute to War Heroes

  • 23 Oct 2018

On Sunday 21 October Theresa attended and addressed a remembrance service at All Saints Church in Boyn Hill.

The service paid tribute to all those from the area had fought and died during the tragic conflicts of the First World War.

Theresa:

“With this year marking a century since the end of the First World War, it was warming to see so many people attending this service to remember those who had fallen.

We will never forget those who fought to keep us safe and we will forever remain grateful for their service and sacrifice.”

During the service Father Jeremy Harris led a re-dedication blessing to a memorial board bearing the names of Boyn Hill residents who had fallen between 1914 -1918. This was followed by a dedication blessing to a second board bearing the names of all those who had been involved and fallen in subsequent conflicts since.
