On Friday 15th June, Theresa visited Maidenhead Railway Station to receive an update on Crossrail which is due to begin service next year.
As part of the update on the Crossrail programme, Theresa received a tour of one of the new Elizabeth Line trains and met Crossrail Technical Director, Chris Sexton and Transport for London Commissioner, Mike Brown.
Theresa said: ‘I am delighted to have been able to view one of the new Elizabeth Line trains and speak with Crossrail and Transport for London staff about the project. The Elizabeth Line will be an important additional transport link for my constituents, which will enable travel through to East London without changing trains.’
