On Friday 15 June, Theresa visited the Sunrise of Sonning care home and presented awards to two members of the team who were celebrating 10 years of service.
The day was organised as part of national Carers Week, an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring and recognise the contribution carers make to families and communities throughout the UK.
Sunrise of Sonning was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following a recent inspection.
Theresa said:
“It was a pleasure to visit Sunrise of Sonning. I very much enjoyed meeting residents and their families and would like to pay tribute to the team who work day-in, day-out, for everyone here.”
