On Friday 26 January Theresa was at the site of The Landing to see plans for the scheme which is expected to provide 500 homes, as well as office and retail space.
A public exhibition on the proposals had been running at the former site of Que Pasa in King Street, which will be part of the development bordered by Broadway, King Street and Queen Street.
Also present was a class of pupils from Highfield Preparatory School in West Street, to find out more about the project.
“I was very interested to see this exhibition and I was pleased to be invited. This is a site that has been a long time in development and we all want to see the right progress and it is very good to take visits and views from local residents, including children.”
