Theresa May MP welcomes the reinstatement of Wargrave train service

  • 11 Oct 2017

Theresa May has continued to campaign on the reduction of the GWR train services from Wargrave, which has seen off-peak train services cut to once an hour.

Last week, following Theresa’s campaigning, GWR announced that they will increase the services frequency at Wargrave to 30 minutes throughout the day, bringing the station in line with other stations on the route.

Commenting on this announcement, Theresa said: ‘Over the past year, I have been pressing for an improved service at Wargrave and I am delighted that GWR has published plans to restore service frequency. I know these plans will be warmly welcomed by my constituents, who have been disadvantaged so that passengers in Henley can get a faster service.’
