Earlier this week Maidenhead's MP Theresa May dropped into the Woodland Village site at LEGOLAND Windsor where Merlin Entertainment has officially started work on its Woodland Village resort which is set to open in the Spring of 2024.
Merlin Entertainments have invested £35million into this project which will feature 150 accommodation lodges in its Phase One development.
LEGOLAND have stated that they expect this development to attract thousands of UK and international visitors to our local area which will be a much welcome boost for the local economy and employment.
The 10-acre site which is designed around the Resort’s woodland area and lake will also host enchanting nature trails complete with an amazing variety of animals built out of LEGO® bricks, a family entertainment space, an on-site restaurant, brick building activities and story time areas.
