Theresa raises concerns about effect of Badnell's Pit development on local schools

Theresa May has raised serious concerns over the extra strain the development of the Badnell’s Pit site will put on school budgets in Maidenhead.

Theresa said: “I am increasingly concerned that there is simply not enough money to provide the extra schools, teachers and facilities that will be required by a development this size.”

“As I feared, it looks like the bulk of the cost will have to be met from existing funding streams which will take money away from much-needed and long-overdue improvement projects. I am worried local children will miss out as a result of lowering standards and have taken this issue up with the Minister.”
