Theresa May has been re-elected as Member of Parliament for Maidenhead. In the general election held on 6th May, Theresa increased her majority to 16,769, winning nearly 60% of the vote. Theresa said, “I am delighted to have been re-elected as the Member of Parliament for Maidenhead. It has been a great privilege to serve the people of Maidenhead since 1997 and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me.”

“I am very conscious of the trust that has been placed in me and will do all I can to repay that trust. I will work hard for all the people of the Maidenhead constituency, whichever way they voted, and will continue to speak up on issues of local concern.”

“My priorities will include safeguarding vital services at St Marks Hospital, the future of Maidenhead town centre, improving train services and protecting our local area from inappropriate development. I look forward to working with local residents and hearing from them on issues of concern to them.”
