Theresa May MP teams up with Royal British Legion

  • 12 Nov 2018

On Saturday 10 November, Theresa joined young cadets and volunteers to sell poppies outside Maidenhead Sainsbury’s superstore on Providence Place to help raise money for the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.

Saturday morning shoppers were able to buy poppies from Theresa ahead of Remembrance Sunday and help raise money for the charity who provide lifelong support for the Armed Forces community - serving men and women, veterans, and their families.

Theresa:

“The Royal British Legion do invaluable work to help support our armed forces and their families who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy today.

So I was very pleased to be able support them in their appeal.”
