Theresa May has thanked Maidenhead residents for their support after she was re-elected as a Member of Parliament. She said: “I am delighted to have been re-elected as MP for Maidenhead with an increased majority. I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. I will work hard over the next five years to serve the people of the Maidenhead constituency, whether they voted for me or not.”

“My priorities will be to secure jobs and investment particularly in Maidenhead town centre, to safeguard local services including at St Marks Hospital and our vital train links, and to protect the local area from inappropriate development. There is a lot of work to do and I am looking forward to getting on with the job.”
