Theresa has reacted to the news that a small group of people have brought forward a ballot to end selection at two Reading grammar schools, Reading School and Kendrick School, and offered her support to them continuing in their current capacity. Several local parents whose children attend these school have contacted Theresa to express their concern about the move, which is opposed by the schools.Read More

Theresa May is meeting Wokingham Borough Council officials to discuss the provision of primary school places in September amid growing concerns among parents in Twyford and the surrounding area. A number of parents have contacted Theresa to express concern that their children have not been offered places at local primary schools, and Theresa is keen to bring these to the attention of the Council and to discuss what more can be done to ensure that appropriate places are available for all children.Read More

Theresa May is continuing to press Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust over their proposal to move mental health services for older people from St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead to Reading.
