Maidenhead is fortunate to have the River Thames running along the northern edge of the constituency, but with this comes the issue of flooding.
Flooding can cause no end of problems for communities impacted and I recently met with one of my constituents in Bisham to discuss how flooding has affected residents in Bisham.
Throughout the recent period of flooding Theresa has been in regular contact with the Environment Agency about measures they are taking to respond to the dangers of flooding.
Following her meeting Theresa wrote to the Environment Agency Chief Executive to discuss proposals to protect our communities from future flooding and how best to preserve the Thames river.
