Theresa was delighted to meet Alex, a young carer from the constituency at an APPG for Young Carers and Young Adult Carers reception in Parliament yesterday.
There are estimated to be around 1 million young carers across the United Kingdom, taking on significant caring responsibilities for loved ones.
Theresa was pleased to be able to take the opportunity to thank Alex for the important care that she provides for her brother and listen to her experiences.
