Theresa May MP welcomes additional funding for Trust House Reading

Earlier in October, Theresa May wrote to Police and Crime Commissioner, Anthony Stansfeld, to highlight the importance of continued support for Trust House Reading.

Trust House Reading is a service which offers specialist support services for people affected by rape and sexual abuse across Berkshire and it is the only specialist support centre in the region.

It is therefore great news that Trust House Reading has now been awarded a grant of around £60K which will provide counselling support to victims of sexual abuse and Theresa May welcomes this news.

I am very pleased that Trust House Reading has been awarded the necessary funding as it is an invaluable service to people in the Maidenhead constituency. The staff and all the volunteers do a fantastic job and they deserve all the assistance they can get to make sure all victims of sexual abuse get the best possible service.
