St Marks Hospital and the NHS

Theresa has campaigned to support St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead, and for improvements at Wexham Park and the Royal Berks. With more new homes being built she wants to make sure there are enough GPs for everyone.

Theresa is campaigning to ensure there are enough GP places locally, particularly in areas such as Woodley where more houses are putting surgeries under pressure. Health services are particularly important for older people; it is essential that older people have a decent standard of living after a lifetime of hard work.

Theresa is also supporting proposals for a new hospital for Maidenhead at Junction 8/9 of the M4. She is monitoring local NHS services and is regularly in touch with local NHS managers and GPs to ensure that people are getting the services they need.
