On Friday 16th June, Theresa had a moving and informative meeting with The Dash Charity.
Dash- (Domestic Abuse Stops Here)- is an excellent local charity that provides specialist support to adults and children experiencing domestic abuse and helps survivors overcome associated complex needs such as- mental health issues, modern slavery, immigration, trafficking, and homelessness.
Theresa met with staff to discuss the ongoing challenges facing people suffering from domestic abuse. During her visit, Theresa also heard the testimony of a previous client of Dash – a survivor of domestic abuse – to listen to their story and to highlight the valuable impact of Dash's work for survivors of Domestic Violence.
