Theresa May visits Desborough College.

Earlier this month Theresa was given a tour of Desborough College to see the culmination of recent investment in facilities and refurbishments to classrooms, IT suites, the school hall, stage and the sixth form centre.

Theresa spoke with pupils, staff, and the headteacher about school life and the further plans that are in the pipeline to make Desborough an even better college.

Of her visit Theresa said: “I was delighted to meet with students, teachers and leaders at Desborough College and experience the Desborough Way in action. It was wonderful to see how a culture of inclusion supports every student to be their best and how ambitious their leaders are for each and every one of them.

I was also able to see first-hand the investment and work which have gone into the facilities recently across both the main school building and the sixth form centre, thanks to the support of Pioneer Educational Trust. From my discussions I know there are more improvements to come both as regards the facilities, but of key importance in the quality of education."
